How South Carolina's main scholarships work
Palmetto Fellows
For students with top grades, test scores and class rank. Your student applies through the high school counselor during senior year.
LIFE
Based on grades, test scores and class rank. There's no application: the college reviews your student and awards it.
SC HOPE
A one-year award for first-year students at a four-year college who don't qualify for LIFE. Based on high school GPA.
